Today I received a correspondence from a high school girl who will be attending camp this summer.
"Dear Coach Morelock,
I'm sorry that I didn't indicate my side on my application. I row starboard.

As you can see, Helen and I have taken our relationship to the next level.
Richard, do you remember writing thank you notes to the businesses that would buy our 4-H steers? Unlike the Kastnings, we did not have posters ready made to post immediately after the auction, and so we would sit at the kitchen table, late on Thursday night, trying to make clever posters, slap happy because of the hour and impudent because Mom was glowering over our shoulders.
